(on Sunday)
This week for Sale and Salvage Saturday
I'm sharing Part 1 of my finds from the weekend.
I already mentioned I spent 8 hours out and about
treasure hunting yesterday, so I have a lot to share.
This post includes only the items I found at estate sales,
and next week's will have all of my items from the antique stores.
We went to three different estate sales on Saturday.
Immediately upon entering the first one, I spotted this:
A cuckoo clock!
It was in great condition and made in Germany,
so I had to bring it home.
I love the little woodland creatures on it.
The only other item I found there was this:
A handy dandy bundt pan!
It still had the barcode on it, never used.
I'm making a chocolate stout cake for my dad's birthday this weekend on Whidbey,
so this one will be to keep up there.
At the next sale I resisted an extensive collection of owls,
and only walked away with one:
He was only 25 cents!
I also got these two great necklaces for $1:
I wore the turquoise one out dancing last night :)
Finally, the last estate sale.
Which yielded a few treasures:
I found three belts that I thought were interesting.
And this tea tin.
I've seen a few projects lately that use these.
That's it for my estate sale finds.
Be excited for next Saturday when I reveal the rest of my loot!

Cute cuckoo clock! Reminds me of our trip, only you probably got a much better price than you would have in the Black Forest.
