In the spirit of wilderness, I have to dedicate a post to REI.
Now seems like the right time since it's dividend month
and I have free money to spend!
I loaded up on gear last spring and put a lot on my xmas list,
so I don't have anything I absolutely must have.
Here is a list of things that would be handy to have:
1. schwag pockets to keep my tent organized
2. polarized sunglasses (actually this is a must, I sat on my last pair)
3. lightweight cookware (I love my kettle set,
but it's really only useful for heating water)
4. a wide-mouth nalgene cantene - it would work with my steriPEN
that attaches to wide-mouth nalgenes!
5. convertible hiking pants that are comfortable - that is a challenge!
Now I have to narrow it down and figure out what I really need.
Hooray for REI dividends!
