10 Things I Love

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
To celebrate I've chosen 10 green things I love...

1. These cupcakes look SO GOOD!
I loved Andes mints growing up.

2. This kitchen is beautiful.
I would love to cook here. Look at that stove!

3. This green home (low-impact, low-cost, natural building)
that looks like something straight out of LOTR.
A guy named Simon in Wales built this house and has a whole website about it.
It's funny because I remember my college boyfriend, Dennis, showing me
this house and thinking it was the coolest thing,
but I couldn't imagine ever living in something like that.
My tastes have changed...I would LOVE to live there now!

4. This planter collection used for a tea party.
Martha came up with this one, no wonder it looks perfect!

5. Greenhouses.
If I ever have a house and a yard I'm building one of these!
I love this one made of recycled materials.

10. Hops.
They're gorgeous and when it comes to beer, the more the merrier.

I hope you remembered to wear your green today...
and be sure to have a beer to celebrate.
I'll be enjoying one with lots of hops :)

  2. Hah you don't have to steal it, I actually thought the brussels sprouts were hops until I zoomed in. And then you had hops at the end and it all came together.

  3. OK - Two things:

    1) You need to get Chris Gentes' cookie recipe that uses Andes Mints (SOOOOO good) and
    2) I am sending that planter idea for the tea to my sister for her tea room!
