Day 95: veggies

Hosting book club tomorrow for The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie.

These veggies will become a pot pie for our main dish.

Day 94: Happy Birthday, Mom!

We celebrated with linner at Matt's,

followed by The Town at Big Picture.

They brought us Irish Coffees an hour into the movie...

can't beat that!

10 Things: xmas wishlist

I thought it would be fun to post 10 Things on my wishlist this year... 

1. Minnetonka mocs. I'm torn between the Kilty:

 2. A new toaster. Loving this retro one but it's a little pricey:

3. new sleeping bag for upcoming backpacking adventures!

3-season, down, lightweight...maybe this one from Marmot?

 4. headlamp to replace the one I broke last summer in a cupholder.

10 things I'm thankful for today:

1. my family. 

Sad that my brother is not here for Thanksgiving, 

but I get to spend it with my amazing parents who've been spoiling me with 

Irish coffee, homemade waffles, and hugs.

Day 90: fire and Irish coffee

Day 89: snow!

I stayed up late enough last night that it was technically today.

(that's what snow days are for!)

Day 88: snow...can't focus...

it snowed at work today

which means the kids were completely distracted

I got an email at work this morning from the Tractor tavern.

Apparently Zoe Muth and Tift Merritt were playing together.

I bought a ticket immediately.

Fortunately Eric and Jen were going too, so I didn't have to fly solo.

They were both incredible!
