Check-In and Photos

I don't know how this happens,
but life keeps getting busier all the time.
I am only home to shower and sleep,
otherwise I am constantly on the go.
And there is no end in sight!
Project 365 has fallen apart.
There are too many gaps.
I am sad about that but that's just what happened.
I can't complain too much because
I have a lot of FUN things on my schedule!
The week/weekend was a whirlwind
but here is a photo review thanks to Instagram:

 1. Walking to Joe's since it's too hard to park.
Pretty nice downtown view on the way.
2. First badminton match of the season. Whoa.
3. View from Fremont before a comedy show in Kirkland.
4. Bellingham ALS walk and llama butts.
 5. Morgan going bananas over bananas.
6. La Fiama pesto + potato + mushroom = love.
7. Petting pigs with Kate in Stanwood (more on this later!)
8. Hiking with Karmen at Poo Poo Point.

Just wanted to check in.
Hope all is well!

back to reality

Back from my four day vacay.
Not going to lie, I cried on the flight home.
It's hard to go back to reality after four perfect days.
Also I was really tired.
And I was finishing a sad book.
But it was mostly just being so sad that it's over.

Lot's of catching up to do now that I'm back...
Hopefully that will include catch up on the blog!

hello, goodbye

The hello is to let you know I'm alive.
Can you tell that school started right after my last post?
Blogging is the very last thing I should be doing right now.
I am frankly terrified by the sheer enormity of my to do list.
There simply are not enough hours in the day.
But I have an exciting getaway coming up...
if I can only finish getting ready to be gone,
I will be able to relax and enjoy myself for four whole days.

The goodbye is from the title of a song I want to share.
I heard it on Pandora at work today (Washed Out channel, the best)
and it was love at first listen:

Back to my list now.
Hopefully back to posting soon!

a perfect weekend

Labor Day Weekend...
the last few days of freedom and summertime.
I am weeks behind on project 365.
Tomorrow is the first day of school.
It is way past my bedtime.
But I wanted to share some photos...

Joe and I spent Saturday afternoon on the coast
and then joined a bunch of friends at a cabin
on Summit Lake for the remainder of the weekend.

Of course the weekend was perfect because:
1) the weather was beautiful
2) I was forced to relax the whole time
3) I spent it with some best friends
and a guy I am absolutely crazy about.

I hope you all had a perfect weekend too!
