I distinctly remember first reading about Jose Gonzalez
in an issue of Rolling Stone in a waiting room years ago.
It was love at first listen.
Just watch this and try to disagree with me:
Swoon.
His more recent album was influenced by books he read by evolutionary biologists.
Love it! And it's a great album. Here's a video:
Jose (yes we're on a first name basis now) is also a member of the band Junip.
Surprise, surprise, I love them too!
They released an album last September and I got to see them in November.
I find this video a little creepy, but the song is great:
They're returning in May and you bet I will be there!
