Yesterday I went to Bellingham to visit my friend Stacy.
She runs the Northwest Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
Last night was their annual fundraising auction, and this year I volunteered to help.
(Volunteering is on my 26 before 27 list!)
I spent the afternoon at Stacy and Jason's house
catching up with them and their three kitties.
We got there early to do some last minute setup,
and then it was showtime.
Jason was in charge of selling raffle tickets.
He's quite the salesman!
I helped keep an eye on the silent auction.
Which inevitably meant I won a couple items.
They're gorgeous and I'll feature them in a later post.
It was so much fun!
I hope to do it again next year.
