Music Monday: Surf Rock

First of all, I would like to announce that only part of this post is about Best Coast (gasp!)

It's also about Wavves, who played with them on Saturday Night.

Both of these bands hail from California 

and fit under the indie rock/ surf pop/ noise pop category. 

I can't remember the last time I was at a show that included: 

1. a mosh pit 

2. crowd surfing 

3. beach balls and inflatable alien fights 

Obviously based on these three things it was awesome. 

Even though I watched from a balcony and did not participate.
