Today Lauren and I drove out to the shore of Lake Michigan to sprawl on the
sand for about 45 minutes because it was hot and we are white wimps.
Once the boys were done with med school stuff we went out
on a tour of Grand Rapids. We started at The Winchester
where we shared a pitcher of sangria and a plate of these:
Party balls! Goat cheese covered in pistachio nuts with blueberry chutney.
Spread on brioche...so good.
We had dinner at Stella's - most of the food was vegan
and they had an amazing IPA.
Those party balls (the name is a bit off-putting as my sister would say) look AMAZING!
