I had grand plans for today.
Places I was going to go and people I was going to visit.
Instead I stayed in bed until noon, washed the dishes,
and spent the evening at my parents' house.
Basically it was a great day that required minimal effort.
Perfect.
I made veggie kabobs. The zucchini is from my garden.
We also had eggplant and purple cabbage and corn on the cob.
We ate on the patio and it was lovely! Felt like summer.
Sometimes I forget that it's summer because I'm in school.
A little more about my lazy morning.
The cats stayed in bed with me until noon,
and after breakfast this is where I found Dean.
