Day 255: Mother's day

Mother's day was lovely. 

My brother is in Chicago for an interview 

but his girlfriend, Kara, took his place. 

We saw Jane Eyre at the 7 Gables Theater. 

Then we went to Woodinville and Kara and I 
(mostly just Kara) cooked an amazing dinner. 
She made a rosemary pesto with rosemary from my yard. 

We put it on a bunch of veggies and some salmon. 

It was delicious! 

For dessert we had strawberries and vanilla pudding. 

I think my mom enjoyed her day :)
