I'm starting to realize how little time I have left until I go back to work on the 23rd. Most of that time is completely booked, and I'm trying to make a list of goals to accomplish before I lose all my free time. For some reason that leads me to reflecting on what I've accomplished this summer and what adventures I've had. I'm going to wait until it's really over to pick my top 5, so for now I'm going to share my top 3 albums I've been enjoying this summer:
1. Arcade Fire - The Suburbs
It hasn't been out very long, but I've listened to it on repeat
enough times to make it stand out as a summer album.
I love that every song follows a common theme.
2. Beach House - Teen Dream
Great background music for cleaning or just daydreaming.
The last song is especially sweet.
3. The Radio Department - Clinging to a Scheme
I'm especially crazy about "Heaven's on Fire"
and "You Stopped Making Sense".
