Exciting News!

I don't have the patience to wait to share this...

I am enrolled in an art class, just like I hoped for on my 26 before 27 list!
After a failed attempt at a local art class

(you want me to spend HOW much on supplies?!)

I decided to go with an online, go-at-your-own-pace class.

I easily have the supply list covered already and it will help with the

"paint every canvas you already own" goal as well :)

The class is called Get Your Paint On, and it's geared towards

new artists and those just stuck in a rut. Perfect!

I haven't taken an art class (save art history) since high school, sadly.

I'm just looking for some inspiration to get back in the game,

so I think this class will be really fun for me.

Another thing I love is that participants are asked to

1) post photos of their art on flickr and

2) comment on at least three other works.

I love this idea! It's always nice to get constructive feedback on your work,

give constructive feedback on the work of others,

and build on connections/community through the lovely interweb.

I am REALLY excited to start this adventure (next Monday!).

I'll be sure to share more when it begins...
