Day 292: people I love and painting

Today's photo theme was "someone you love". 

I decided to make a little floor collage of the people I love. 

It was a bit tricky to find photos, 

so if you're not here it doesn't mean I don't love you ;) 

Lucky for me most of the people I love I've known for a very long time. 

Also I thought I thought I would share a sneak peek 

at this week's painting so far (for my class):

It looks really pale in this light but it's more vivid in real life. 

I am having a hard time deciding what colors to go with next.  

While I was working on it last night I realized 

it was the first time I painted for fun since my freshman year of college. 

So that was...7-8 years ago? That is SAD. 

I'm happy my easel fits pretty well in a corner where 

I can leave it set up while I'm working on projects.
