Garden Projects Continued...

Thanks to a magical thing called spring break I was able 

to get out and work in the yard on a sunny Monday. 

I started the day filling the backseat of my Corolla with dirt (interesting experience) 

and picking up a few of my favorite spring flowers (ranunculus!) 

I built the second raised bed, filled it with dirt, and set up some 

row covers on one of the beds. I had a cabbage-worm problem 

with my broccoli last year, so I'm hoping this will help. 

I planted some peas, carrots and beets outside, and 

continued to add to my indoor seedling collection. 

I have the nicest UPS man ever and he was asking me all about it. 

Urban farming is the best!
