San Francisco Day 1

 Our first day in San Francisco was a busy one.
We started off with croissants at a cafe 

and walked to the Embarcadero to browse. 

 We took a bus to Golden Gate bridge and set off along a bluff trail. 

We ended up at Baker Beach with some old naked guys jogging. 

Joe's sister drove over and met us for a hike to Land's End. 

It was such a gorgeous day! 

We had burritos at La Taqueria in the Mission district 
and got a surprise serenade. 

Then we explored Golden Gate Park for a few hours 

and had some tea before his sister went to meet up with some friends. 

By dinnertime we were still stuffed from our burritos 

so we hung out in the hotel and caught a lovely sunset. 

Then we walked to North Beach for a late Italian dinner. 
He had meatballs. I had gnocchi. We split a bottle of wine. 
The restaurant, Trattoria Contadina, was small and romantic. 
It was the perfect end to such a nice day!
