{365 of 2012} Week 6

Random stories + random photos = Week 6! 

 I looove my bed. So do the cats. 

Whenever I wash the sheets they feel the need to roll all over them. 

 Testing a new recipe - didn't make the cut. 

I attempted to make vegan "mac and cheese" using cauliflower. 

It was ok, but not great. 

Also I learned that handling butternut squash 

made the skin on my hands peel off. Awesome. 

 They get SO excited when it's time to go to bed. 

Maybe they got that from me? 

 My desk at work, uncut and uncensored. 

Notice the three beverages, a solar powered snowman, 

a molecular model, three varieties of rock, a stack of journals to grade, 

and various educational resources. P.S. This is only one half of my desk.  

 At my UW class Thursday nights we take turns making dinner. 

I was up so I made lentil soup for the first time. 

It's really too bad that it looks so gross, because it was cheap, easy and delicious! 

 Sometimes on a Friday night you just gotta get your hair did and fall asleep at 8pm. 

I passed over the fashion mags for a little Martha Stewart. 

this sandwich idea was too good not to take a phone photo of. 

I found these little mushrooms growing in my yard. 

Well now, how's that for random?
