10 Things: I'm listening to right now

Lately there have been a few albums that I just can't get enough of.
Here are 10. Some are old and some are new.
I'm currently listening to #1, which is today's fav.

1. Best Coast - Crazy for You
Surf Rock!
No favorite on this one because I love all of them.

2. Fences - self-titled
Local guy. Love his music.
"Girls With Accents" is perfect for when you know you messed up.
"My Girl the Horse" reminds me of Ethan Frome, which is one of my favorite books.
"Hands" might be my favorite but I love every song.

3. The National - High Violet
I don't think I will ever get sick of this one.
Mostly I love "Lemonworld", "England" and "Bloodbuzz Ohio".

4. Warpaint - The Fool
I think the album cover is misleading because it's mellow music.
"Undertow" is my fav on this one, but it's pretty new so it needs more listening.

5. Patsy Cline - The Very Best Of
Man, this lady knew what was up.
I think I have every song she ever recorded.
I feel like listing my favorites would be saying too much.
She really puts it all out there.

6. Deerhunter - Halcyon Digest
"Helicopter". Love it. Especially the remix by Diplo and Rumice. Amazing.
Also really enjoy "Desire Lines".

7. Junip - Fields
I should probably just marry Jose Gonzalez for his music
Favorite: "In Every Direction". But really, I love all of them.

8. Julie Roberts - Men & Mascara
I've had this one for a long time but it resurfaced recently.
I think the name of the album says a lot about the songs.
"Smile", "Chasin' Whiskey", and "That Ain't a Crime" are my favorites.

9. The Disciplines - Smoking Kills
I don't love every song on this album,
but I'm kind of obsessed with "There's a Law".

10. various artists - Winter Songs
I got this one last winter but it's got some of my favorite winter songs.
How appropriate.
Top song: Brandi Carlile - "The Heartache Can Wait"
Others: Lenka - "All My Bells Are Ringing" and Colbie Callait - "Mistletoe".
Also like the title track by Ingrid Michaelson and Sara Bareilles.
